DUSTANS-1976-THE FIRST UK PRESS -BTM-.1007 .  A rare British original of a cult album. Blind Dog at St. Dunstans is the seventh studio album by the Canterbury rock band Caravan. It was released in 1976. This album sounds lighter than previous Caravan releases, it has more short, "pop" songs. The lightness of the sound is partly due to the fact that there is a lot of Pie Hastings in the album. He wrote and performed eight of the nine songs. Sladest was released by Polydor on September 28, 1973 and was certified British silver by the BPI that month. It stayed on the charts for 24 weeks. Future Legends is the debut studio album by the Northern Irish progressive rock band Fruupp. Recorded in July 1973 and produced by Denis Taylor, it was released on October 5 in the UK on Dawn Records, a subsidiary of Pye Records for underground and progressive rock music. To promote the album, the band embarked on a two-month tour, which ended on November 29 with a concert at Whitla Hall in Belfast, where they played with the Ulster Youth Orchestra. ...more

The Best of Uriah Heep (also known as The Best of...) is the title of the most successful compilation album by the British rock band Uriah Heep. It was released by Bronze Records and Mercury Records in three different editions with approximately the same set of songs, but with different covers and track listings. The first edition was released in 1974 in Canada, the second in 1975 in Europe, and the third the following year in the United States. In some European editions, the song "Lady in Black" was replaced by "Suicidal Man". The collection went gold in Germany. ...more

A rare Japanese edition of the iconic album. A Collection of Beatles Oldies is a collection containing a selection of songs by The Beatles recorded from 1963 to 1966. The album was released in 1966 by Parlophone in the UK and Australia, in both mono and stereo versions. By the pre-Christmas season of 1966, the EMI label had no new musical material from The Beatles for the first time in three years. The compilation was an alternative suitable to meet EMI's demand for new products, as the band had just begun recording Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, the follow-up to their album Revolver, released in the summer. It was the first official compilation of the band's greatest hits, although the Beatles did not participate in the creation of the album. The album peaked at number six on the UK Albums Chart. The album cover contributed to the myth of "Paul is dead", as in the cover illustration, the road seems to lead directly into the head of a sitting person (as if secretly hinting: "Paul died on the road, in a car accident"). ...more
