This four-lp compilation was released in August 1970 and became his 38th album. The compilation reached number 45 on the Billboard 200 chart and number 25 on the country chart. The album received gold status on February 13, 1973, platinum status on March 27, 1992, and double platinum status from the American Recording Industry Association on June 17, 1992. Of the 51 tracks featured, four are being played for the first time in this collection: "Viva Las Vegas", "Suspicious Minds", "Don't Cry Daddy" and "Kentucky Rain". A rare British original. A Night at the Opera is the fourth studio album by the rock band Queen, released on December 2, 1975. The record was a great success: its sales reached three million, and it held the top position in the UK charts for four inconsistent weeks. The title of the album — "Night at the Opera" — as well as the subsequent one, is taken from the repertoire of American comedians of the 1930s by the Marx brothers, namely from the film of the same name. At each Queen concert, several songs from A Night at the Opera were necessarily performed (while "Love of My Life" was never performed in the album version). It is generally believed that the song "Death on Two Legs" is dedicated to the former producer of the band. "Bohemian Rhapsody" brought the band a resounding success and in 2000 was recognized in Britain as the "song of the millennium". The final album, "God Save the Queen", is the British national anthem arranged by Brian May; it was this composition that invariably completed each concert of the band.
