The album became the first to debut on the German charts at number 1 in the first week of sales (their debut album Dire Straits was still at number 3 in that country). Aftermath is the fourth British and sixth American studio album by the British rock band The Rolling Stones, released in two versions. The British version of the record (Decca Records) was released on April 15, 1966, intended for sale in the United States (London Records) on June 20. The CD is designed in the classic rhythm and blues style for the band, but it has become more "experimental" than its predecessors; for example, in a number of songs such non-standard instruments for rock music as sitar, accordion and marimba (African xylophone) are used. It is believed that the recording of Aftermath has become one of the most important milestones in the work of the band. In 2002, the album was included in Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All time at number 108. ...more

PAUL ROGERS (EX- BAD COMPANY) - MUDDY WATER BLUES (2LP'S LIM.ED.)-1993-FIRST PRESS 2020 UK/EU-MUSIC ON VINYL-MOVLP2716 .A rare audiophile edition of the iconic album on two records. Muddy Water Blues: A Tribute to Muddy Waters is the second solo album by Paul Rogers (known for the bands Free and Bad Company), consisting mainly of cover versions of songs made famous by blues singer Muddy Waters. Although the album was recorded exclusively by Rogers, it featured many guest musicians, including Jeff Beck, Jason Bonham, David Gilmour, Buddy Guy, Brian May, Steve Miller, Gary Moore, Trevor Rabin, Richie Sambora, Neil Shawn, Brian Setzer and Slash. The album was released in 1993.  Among the tracks included in the album is Albert King's song "Hunter", which Rogers previously recorded with the band Free for their debut album Tons of Sobs. ...more

GILLA-I LIKE SOME COOL ROCK'n'ROLL 1980-FIRST GERMANY EXPORT  PRESS-HANSA - 201406-320. Very rare original one of the best albums in the disco style. Gill and Roelofs 1980 record a new album, preceded by its release of the single We Gotta Get Out Of This Place. The album was called I Like Some Cool Rock'n'roll, and it was produced by himself, Roelofs, and Farian remained in the project as a viewer and a producer, for which, however, had the final word. The album was attended by interesting disco song Go Down Main Street, Tom Cat, as well as a few songs Roelofs, co-written by Fred Jay, including a beautiful lyrical Take Your Time. What prevented this album to be a bestseller, unknown, but, apparently, the role played by the fact that in 1980 disco began to experience hard times. Nevertheless, the album became fairly common in Europe (especially Eastern) and South-East Asia, where Euro-disco was very popular. ...more
