A rare American original by an iconic saxophonist. Reel Life is an album by jazz saxophonist Sonny Rollins, released on the Milestone label in 1982. It includes performances by Rollins with Bobby Broome, Yoshiaki Masuo, Bob Crenshaw and Jack DeJohnette. In the Allmusic review by Michael J. Nastosa says: "As Rollins' career gained momentum, his love of hard bop, Caribbean music, and funk styles continued to attract loyal fans and urban audiences. The album was released on March 22, 1982 in the United States and the following day in the United Kingdom — almost simultaneously with the re-screening of the film An Evening of a Hard Day, which was "cleaned" and edited with Dolby stereo sound.
