A rare audiophile edition of the iconic album on two records recorded at 45 speed.   Dire Straits is the debut studio album by the British rock band Dire Straits, released in October 1978. On October 7, 1978, the Dire Straits album was officially released on the Phonogram label. Since 1979, the album has been released under the Vertigo label. The album's sales results are quite impressive, with four million copies sold in Europe and two million copies sold in the United States. The fate of the singles is diametrically different — Sultans of Swing was accepted by the public, reached the 8th position in the UK chart. "Heroes" is the twelfth studio album by British musician David Bowie, released on October 14, 1977 on the RCA Records label; the second of the so-called "Berlin trilogy" (albums Low, "Heroes", Lodger), recorded in collaboration with Brian Eno. The only album of the cycle, entirely recorded in Berlin. On the "Heroes" disc, the sound of Low's previous album evolved in a more "positive" direction. The composition of the same name — a classic story of two lovers secretly meeting near the Berlin Wall with a threat to their lives - remains one of Bowie's most famous songs to this day. The album as a whole was extremely highly appreciated by critics - in particular, thanks to the contribution of guitarist Robert Fripp, who specially flew from the USA for one day to record his guitar parts.
