It was recorded between September 1985 and May 1986 and Alphaville attracted at least 27 specially invited musicians and performers to record songs. The disc received mostly positive reviews. The album entered the ratings of the "best twenty" in five European countries. 500,000 copies of this album have been sold.

"Heroes" is the twelfth studio album by British musician David Bowie, released on October 14, 1977 on the RCA Records label; the second of the so-called "Berlin trilogy" (albums Low, "Heroes", Lodger), recorded in collaboration with Brian Eno. The only album of the cycle, entirely recorded in Berlin. On the "Heroes" disc, the sound of Low's previous album evolved in a more "positive" direction. The composition of the same name — a classic story of two lovers secretly meeting near the Berlin Wall with a threat to their lives - remains one of Bowie's most famous songs to this day. The album as a whole was extremely highly appreciated by critics - in particular, thanks to the contribution of guitarist Robert Fripp, who specially flew from the USA for one day to record his guitar parts.
