A version of the cover with a one-sided laminate.  Disraeli Gears is the second studio album by Cream, recorded from May 11 to May 15 in New York City on the American label Atco, a division of Atlantic Records, and released in November 1967. The album reached the 5th position in the UK chart and the 4th place in America, it features two new singles: "Strange Brew" and "Sunshine of Your Love" (the second of them is considered the best composition of the Cream group for all time). In 2003, VH1 named Disraeli Gears the 87th greatest album of all time. It was recorded during a concert in Frejus, France, on August 27, 1982 as part of a tour in support of Avalon's latest studio album. The album cover features model Amanda Cazalet. The Frejus concert was filmed by Robin Nash for the BBC and released on home video in 1983 under the title The High Road with songs in a different sequence. However, the album The High Road, also released in 1983, consists of audio recordings of another concert of the tour, which took place in Glasgow, Scotland, on October 30, 1982. The High Road was discontinued by 1990 and replaced by the album Heart Still Beating, which included both concerts. ...more

The producer was Terry Knight and the sound engineer was Ken Hamann. It became the band's first album to be awarded gold status by the RIAA.
