Since 1979, the album has been released under the Vertigo label. The album's sales results are quite impressive, with four million copies sold in Europe and two million copies sold in the United States. The fate of the singles is diametrically different — Sultans of Swing was accepted by the public, reached the 8th position in the UK chart. Although the album was recorded exclusively by Rogers, it featured many guest musicians, including Jeff Beck, Jason Bonham, David Gilmour, Buddy Guy, Brian May, Steve Miller, Gary Moore, Trevor Rabin, Richie Sambora, Neil Shawn, Brian Setzer and Slash.
