Although the album was recorded exclusively by Rogers, it featured many guest musicians, including Jeff Beck, Jason Bonham, David Gilmour, Buddy Guy, Brian May, Steve Miller, Gary Moore, Trevor Rabin, Richie Sambora, Neil Shawn, Brian Setzer and Slash. Her first full-fledged concert in twenty years, One Voice, began as a charity performance at Streisand's house in Malibu, California on September 6, 1986. The concert was broadcast on HBO in December of the same year, and the album was released in April 1987. The album includes Streisand's only recordings of two Harold Arlen classics, Over the Rainbow and It's a New World, as well as her version of America the Beautiful. The concert and the release of the album raised millions for Democratic Party candidates and charities involved in anti-nuclear activities and environmental protection, civil liberties and human rights. ...more

Here Gong realized 100% of their creative aspirations in the field of synthesis of psychedelia and jazz-rock. The album is simply magnificent; each song has a unique sound; perfect instrumental harmony is noticeable with a complete unhealthiness of creative ideas. I can't even say which of the three albums "Radio Gnome Invisible" is better (but it's definitely not Vol.1) All music rated the album 4 stars.  ...more
