A rare original of the cult album . "Technical Ecstasy" is the seventh studio album by the British rock band Black Sabbath, released in 1976. Musically, the CD is a further development of the musical ideas of the guitarist and main composer of the band Tony Iommi. Just like on the last two albums, on Technical Ecstasy, simple and short songs such as "Rock 'N' Roll Doctor" contrast with longer and more complex songs such as "You Won't Change Me" and "Dirty Women". The source material was somewhat spoiled by unimportant production [the source is not specified for 102 days, and therefore could not repeat the commercial success of its predecessor, the album Sabotage (1975). Nevertheless, partly thanks to the beautiful songs, and partly thanks to the big name "Black Sabbath", this album sold steadily and eventually received its "platinum" in the UK and "gold" in the USA. The seventh studio album by the British-American rock band Foreigner, released on June 14, 1991 on Atlantic Records. Unusual Heat suffered a commercial failure, reaching only number 117 on the Billboard chart due to a sharp drop in sales compared to all previous albums, each of which reached the Top 20 and became at least platinum. A very rare British original of the legendary band. On this day in 1975, the band Smokie releases their second album, called ‘Changing All The Time'. This album is a testament to the changes. After its release, the band had to slightly change the spelling of its name to avoid being nagged by lawyers for American soul singer Smokey Robinson. However, only the last two letters have changed. But the Smokie sound has undergone significant changes. The band's curators, hit makers, Chinn and Chapman tried to give it more softness with echoes of country rock, which was supposed to turn Smokie into the British answer to the Eagles. SMOKIE-MIDNIGHT CAFE-1976-THE FIRST PRESS (PROMO) JAPAN-RAK-ERS-80494.  A very rare Japanese promo original of a cult album. After a good start in 1975, on a wave of growing popularity, the band went to California and began work on their 3rd album at Whitney Recording Studios. Where he actually records all the material for the album, only "What Can I Do" was recorded at London's Audio International Studios. Did you make a record, where would you think? On the iconic Abbey Road! The recording featured the classic "golden" Smokie line-up: Chris Norman guitar, piano vocals, Alan Silson guitar vocals, Terry Uttley bass guitar backing vocals, and Pete Spencer drums backing vocals.The length of the album is 43 minutes, 4 of the ten songs belong to the pen of "Double CHE", the rest are written by the members of the group."What Can I Do" was written by Alan Silson, and he also sang it. Mike Chapman produced the album, and it's noticeable, as they say, "with an unarmed ear," his signature violins are unmistakable.The album turned out to be very solid, it listens in one breath, not a single passing thing, it was on it that the very "branded" sound was finally formed, for which we loved Smokie so much. The album was released on April 9, 1976, the producer is EMI records, the copyright to the recording belongs to RAK records, on apples The company's RAC sailboat is on display. ABBA-VOULEZ-VOUS-1979-THE FIRST PRESS OF SWEDEN-POLAR - POLS282.A rare Swedish original of the cult album.  Voulez-Vous is the sixth studio album by Swedish pop band ABBA, released in 1979. The release is characterized by a large number of dance-oriented tracks, but it is wrong to define the genre of the album as exclusively "disco"; for example, the song "Does Your Mother Know" has quite definite rock motifs. The work on the album went on for more than a year, and during this time the participants had accumulated more material than what they managed to put on the album. Among the works of that period published much later, it is worth mentioning the composition Dream World, included as a bonus track on the 2010 reissue. In 1981, the album "Voulez-Vous" was released in the USSR by the company "Melody" and became the last numbered album "ABBA", released in the Soviet Union. Def, Dumb and Blonde is the third solo studio album by American singer Deborah Harry. Released in October 1989 on Sire Records in the USA and Chrysalis Records in the UK, the album returned Harry to her professional name "Deborah" rather than "Debbie". Harry worked on the album with various producers, including Tom Bailey of the Thompson Twins and Mike Chapman, who previously produced the last four Blondie albums. "I wanted to do something that would remind me of Blondie," she said.   The song "I Want That Man", written by Tom Bailey and Alanna Curry of the Thompson Twins, was released as the title single. The recording of the album began in March 1990 and lasted until September. The main producers of the album were Stock, Aitken and Waterman. Minogue has also collaborated with a number of American authors and producers, including Keith Cohen, Stephen Bray and Michael Jay. The singer began to take part in songwriting: Rhythm of Love includes four compositions, co-authored by Minogue. Rhythm of Love is an album in the style of dance pop music, different from the singer's early works in the style of bubblegum pop. The compositions of the record are characterized by a more danceable sound, with its release, Minogue's image has become more liberated and sexy. The CD received positive reviews from music critics, who called it the best work of the performer during her collaboration with Stock, Aitken and Waterman. The reviewer of Afisha Daily in a retrospective review gave the album a similar assessment. In 2017, the album Sign "☮" the Times was inducted into the Grammy Award Hall of Fame. Producers Tony Hendrik and Karin Hartmann helped create the band. Initially, the trio consisted of three British girls: Patsy Fuller, Julia and Elaine. Their first song was When the Boys Come Home, released in March 1979. After appearing on the TV show Musikladen, the band gained huge popularity in Germany. For unknown reasons, the line-up often changed with the release of new singles. Jenny Renshaw became the only permanent member, joining the band in October 1979. By 1981, the band consisted of Jenny Renshaw, Linda Daniels, and Joy Martin. Together they released the album Viva. Subsequently, the band's line-up changed several times. In 1982, they recorded the album "Rockin' Oldies", which included numerous covers of songs from the 1960s. The band broke up in 1984. ...more

CAL TJADER (July 16, 1925 — May 5, 1982) was an American musician who played Latin jazz. He is often called the most successful Latin American musician of non-Latin American origin.[1] He explored other jazz trends, especially modern jazz in small groups, while continuing to perform music from Africa, the Caribbean, and Latin America. Tjader mainly played the vibraphone, as well as drums, bongos, congas, timbales, and piano. He has worked with many musicians from different cultures. He is often associated with the development of Latin American rock and acid jazz. Although the mixing of jazz with Latin American music is often referred to as "Latin American jazz," Tjader's works freely combine both styles. His Grammy Award in 1980 for the album "La Onda Va Bien" marked the end of a career that had lasted more than 40 years. ...more

After 1974, the AllMusic review by Scott Yanow states: "Due to the popularity of the obsessive "My Song" this album is the most famous of Jarrett and Garbarek's collaborations, and in fact it's their most rewarding meeting ever.
