QUEEN-A DAY AT THE RACES-1975-FIRST PRESS UK-EMI number EMTC104 Matrix A-4U/B-4U.A rare British original. A Day at the Races is the fifth studio album by the British rock band Queen, released on December 10, 1976 in the UK and December 18, 1976 in the USA.The title of the album — "A Day at the Races" — as well as the previous one, is taken from the repertoire of American comedians of the 1930s by the Marx brothers. A Day at the Races immediately came under fire from critics. Queen was accused of an unsuccessful attempt to repeat A Night At The Opera. The album turned out to be really very similar to the previous one, but this was never hidden by the musicians. May said that both records were being prepared at the same time, but one was recorded earlier and the other later. ...more

Released on February 4, 1991. The last album "Queen", recorded and released during the life of Freddie Mercury. The name Innuendo contains an "indirect hint" that the band will not last long in this line-up. The last songs were very difficult for Freddie, who was already seriously ill. Nevertheless, the album was finished and well received by the public. Several music videos were made in support of him, one of which, "These Are The Days of Our Lives", was the last video featuring Mercury.Despite mixed reviews from critics, Queen's new album peaked at number one on the album charts in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, and her native United Kingdom, going double platinum. ...more

A rare original legend in rock music. After Hours is a studio album by Irish guitarist and singer Gary Moore, released on March 10, 1992. After a busy tour in 1990, Moore recorded the album "After Hours", which, like its predecessor, was sustained in the style of blues-rock, but with a great soul influence and with the addition of a brass section that played in the style of soul. Despite the fact that the album turned out to be very similar to "Still Got The Blues", its success was more modest. After Hours includes both Moore's original songs and well-known blues standards. The Memphis band The Memphis Horns took part in the recording, as well as guest musicians: BB King ("Since I Met You Baby") and Albert Collins ("The Blues Is Alright"). The album reached the 1st place in the charts of Switzerland and Sweden, as well as the 2nd place in Germany and Norway. In general, he received favorable reviews. Passion and Warfare is the second studio album by guitarist Steve Vai, released on May 22, 1990 on Relativity and Epic Records. He received a gold certificate from the RIAA. Passion and Warfare was written based on a series of episodes of dreams that Vai had when he was younger, and in the album's guitar notes book Vai summarizes it this way: "Jimi Hendrix meets Jesus Christ at a party that Ben Hur arranged for Mel Blanc." It was all recorded at Mothership Studios in his Hollywood Hills home, a 1,600-square-foot (150 m2) building that also recorded his guitar parts for Whitesnake's 1989 album Slip of the Tongue. Whitesnake frontman David Coverdale has small spoken parts on the album; Coverdale, Adrian Vandenberg and Rudy Sarzo are credited with backing vocals. Vai claims that planning for the album began back in 1982, but was postponed after joining David Lee Roth's band and was not resumed until the breakup with Roth in 1989. ...more

The album was certified platinum in Brazil, and gold in the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. The album was recorded in 1987 and released on May 3, 1988. In 1987, the single "The Living Daylights" was released, which became the theme to the film "Sparks from the Eyes" about James Bond and was later included in the album. BONEY M-EVE DANCE-1985-First Press GERMANY - HANSA 42448-1. A rare original of the cult album.  Eye Dance is the eighth and final studio album by the vocal group Boney M., released in 1985. The cover was a symbol of the state the band was in at the time, as neither the famous "Boney M." logo nor the band members appeared on the cover, but were replaced by an anonymous drawing. The Dance with Eyes was recorded with several session singers. Original band members Liz Mitchell and Marcia Barrett only appeared on a few tracks, focusing on Reggie Cibo. The singles "My Cherie Amour" and "Young Free and Single" were released by Boney M. as a quintet, in which former band member Bobby Farrell returned; both these singles and the album suffered a resounding failure, both critically and commercially, and in early 1986, the band and producer Frank Farian parted ways after a special television release "10 years of Boney M.", dedicated to the anniversary. ...more
