A rare original of the cult group. High Civilization is the nineteenth studio album by the British pop group the Bee Gees, released on March 25, 1991 in the United Kingdom, and on May 14, 1991 in the United States-their last album recorded for Warner Bros. Records, after a four-year contract (they will return to WB through a subsidiary company Reprise Records in 2006: having obtained the rights to their previously released material, they will reissue each album through Reprise). Perhaps in response to the firm resistance of American radio to the two previous albums-E. S. P. (1987) and One (1989), which proved well in other countries, the American Warner Bros. gave this advertisement one less share and did not release remixes. They recorded this album, and their next album size is not everything with engineer Femi Gia.  In the US, the album was only available on CD and cassette, but the LP version was released in limited quantities in some countries. The king of pop music. Dangerous is the eighth studio album by American singer-songwriter Michael Jackson. It was released on Epic Records on November 26, 1991. Critics noted the wide genre palette of the record, which includes: new jack swing, funk, industrial, modern rhythm and blues, gospel, pop rock and hard rock. While creating the album, Jackson himself acted as its executive producer, collaborating with Teddy Riley and Bill Bottrell. The singer was directly involved in the creation of each of the 14 songs as an author, producer or co-producer. In the winter of 1991, Dangerous debuted at the top of the US and UK charts. They were created and produced by producer, composer and songwriter Bernt Merle. Their first album "For your Love" included the 11:50 suite (extended version) of the song "For Your Love", recorded with an arrangement by Christian Kolonowitz and Bernt Merle. The original song "For Your Love" was a Yardbirds hit, released in 1965 and written by Graham Gouldman. Bernt Merle added new lyrics and composed additional music to the arrangement of "I Walk alone", and the suite became a great international disco hit. Bernt Merle created with "For Your Love" a new standard in disco music of the late 70s - early 80s. The song remained on the Billboard Dance club songs chart for 7 weeks, peaking at number 38 in April 1979. ...more

Savoir fair is the tenth studio album by the Italian pop star. The first success came in 1975, the song "You are beautiful" ("Sei bellissima"), stayed in the Italian charts for 14 weeks, then entered the album "Normal or super" ("Normale o super", 1976) — the first, produced by Mario Lavezzi, as well as the first song of one of the largest Italian composers Ivan Fossati. His song "Dedicated" ("Dedicato"), performed in 1978 by Berthe, and again censored, this time politically, was repeatedly played on Italian TV. The 1979 album "Banda Berte" ("BandaBertè"), including the song "And the moon knocked ..." ("... E la luna bussò", in the rhythm of reggae), again reached high places in the Italian charts. For this album, Berthe again receives the "Vota la voce" award as the best performer. The recording of the album began in March 1990 and lasted until September. The main producers of the album were Stock, Aitken and Waterman. Minogue has also collaborated with a number of American authors and producers, including Keith Cohen, Stephen Bray and Michael Jay. The singer began to take part in songwriting: Rhythm of Love includes four compositions, co-authored by Minogue. Rhythm of Love is an album in the style of dance pop music, different from the singer's early works in the style of bubblegum pop. The compositions of the record are characterized by a more danceable sound, with its release, Minogue's image has become more liberated and sexy. The CD received positive reviews from music critics, who called it the best work of the performer during her collaboration with Stock, Aitken and Waterman. A 1965 live album consisting of two separate sets from that year's Newport Jazz Festival, composed by tenor saxophonists John Coltrane and Archie Shepp. It was recorded four days after Coltrane's Ascension album recording session, at which Shapp appeared, and is one of several albums documenting the final stages of Coltrane's "classic quartet", which would begin to break up by the end of that year with the departure of McCoy Tyner. Reviewer Tim Niland wrote that both of Coltrane's performances are "explosive in their intensity" and "One Down, One Up" is "almost boiling at times." He stated: "Despite the audacity of the music, there are enough melodic hints in it, and the musicians are so obviously sincere in their desire to explore the world that the audience gives them great support." Nayland concluded: "Although the music on this CD must have come as something of a shock to those who were unprepared for it, listening to it in a historical context shows that this is a great example of the rapidly developing state of jazz in the mid-1960s by two of its most famous performers." ...more

The Soundtrack is a live album by jazz saxophonist Charles Lloyd, recorded at New York City Hall in 1968 by the Charles Lloyd Quartet featuring Keith Jarrett, Ron McClure and Jack DeJohnette.Tom Jurek's review on Allmusic awarded the album 4 stars and reads: "The soundtrack stomps with all the fury of a live gospel choir trying to assign Saturday night to God and not another guy... The band is in a heavy Latin American mood, where blues, samba, bossa, hard bop, modal and even soul are saturated with blues. With only four tunes presented, the Charles Lloyd Quartet, although slightly more dissonant than in 1966 and 1967, plays much harder, rougher and gets into rhythm faster than any group that Lloyd led previously... The band broke up shortly after when Jarrett left to play with Miles Davis, but if it had been a swan song live, they couldn't have picked a better gig. ...more

A rare British original of the iconic album.  In 1962, he toured widely in the USSR, gave concerts with his jazz band in Moscow (twice), Leningrad, Kiev, Tbilisi, Tashkent. In an interview, he told reporters that he was glad that the ban on jazz in the USSR had been lifted. The first performance took place on May 30 and, as a result of this trip, the Benny Goodman concert album was released in Moscow. In 1963, the RCA Victor studio hosted a reunion of the legendary Benny Goodman quartet of the 1930s (Goodman himself, Gene Krupa, Teddy Wilson and Lionel Hampton), and a year later the album recorded by them (called "Together Again!") again became one of the most popular albums and gave impetus to new ones on tour to Asia.  The album Made in japan was the result of these tours.  Recordings of some works of academic music (in particular, sonatas for clarinet and piano by Francis Poulenc together with Leonard Bernstein, as well as music by Bernstein himself, Johannes Brahms, Aaron Copland and Claude Debussy) belong to the same period of creativity. ...more

SHELLY MANNE AND CO. -SAME -1964-THE FIRST UK-STATESIDE PRESS-SL10125. A rare British original of the iconic album.  Since the early 1960s, jazz began to transform towards modern and free jazz. Since 1960, Shelly Mann has mainly concentrated on working at the jazz club, where he was a co-owner and in which he played both with his own band Shelly Manne and His Men, and with almost all the jazz stars of that time. His club featured, for example, Ben Webster, Bill Evans, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Michel Legrand, Milt Jackson, Monty Alexander, Miles Davis.  So this album was born, recorded with superstars in the line-up with Johnny Hodges. The album recorded by jazz pianist Keith Jarrett in November 1977 and released on ECM in June of the following year is the second release by his "European Quartet" featuring saxophonist Jan Garbarek and rhythm section, Palle Danielsson and John Christensen, after 1974, The AllMusic review by Scott Yanow states: "Due to the popularity of obsessive"My Song" this album is the most famous of Jarrett and Garbarek's collaborations, and in fact it is their most rewarding meeting ever. PAT METHENY -NEW CHAUTAUQUA-1979-GERMANY'S FIRST PRESS-ECM-ECM1131.  A rare original of the cult jazzman of the third wave (the beginning of the 70s) New Chautauqua is a solo album by jazz guitarist Pat Metheny, recorded in August 1978 and released on ECM in April 1979. The Richmond Times-Dispatch wrote: "For all its charms, and they are significant, Metheny's first solo album is an exercise in arrangement and effect, how music can drift and the listener's attention does the same. PAT METHENY AND LYLE MAYS-AS FALLS WICHITA , SO FALLS WICHITA FALLS-1981-FIRST PRESS GERMANY-ECM-ECM1190.  A rare original of the cult jazzman of the third wave (the beginning of the 70s) As Falls Wichita, So Falls Wichita Falls is an album by jazz guitarist Pat Metheny and jazz pianist Lyle Mays recorded in September 1980 and released on ECM the following April. The trio consists of percussionist Nana Vasconcelos..Throughout the album, Metheny acts as the lead guitarist, accompanying guitarist and bassist, using an overdubbing technique. The track "September Fifteenth" refers to September 15, 1980, the day of the death of American jazz pianist Bill Evans. Metheny and Mays call Evans the main person involved. The album reached number 1 on the Jazz Billboard, and number 50 on the Pop/rock Billboard in 1979.  ...more

A rare original of the cult jazzman of the third wave (the beginning of the 70s) First Circle is the fourth studio album by Pat Metheny's band, recorded over four days in February 1984 and released on ECM later that year. Metheny was joined by Lyle Mays on keyboards, Steve Rodby on bass, Paul Verty on drums and Pedro Aznar on vocals, percussion and guitar. A rare original of the iconic jazzman. City of Eyes is an album by American jazz guitarist Ralph Towner recorded in 1988 and released on ECM the following April. The quintet consists of trumpeter Marcus Stockhausen, oboist Paul McCandless and rhythm section Gary Peacock and Jerry Granelli. Tom Jurek's review on AllMusic awarded the album 4 stars, stating: "City of Eyes once again shows Ralph Towner as a musical researcher, composer and instrumentalist who can convincingly create sonic journeys through time, space and terrain." ...more
